Welcome to Issue #002 of the Brickstone Works Newsletter!

May has been a busy month across Brickstone Works, Arcayd Entertainment, and the Brickstone FrontPage. We've got a major DROP! update on the way, a brand-new FrontPage build, and improvements to this very newsletter.

Let's get into it.

Arcayd Entertainment - Arcayd's Drop! 1.1 Delayed

The upcoming 1.1 update for DROP! has been delayed from May 31st to June 25th, 2026.

The game is also being renamed!

From version 1.1 onward, the game will officially be known as:

ARCAYD'S DROP!

What's new in Version 1.1?

• New Name - DROP! is now officially Arcayd's Drop!
• Game Music - The game now includes music to make gameplay feel more lively and complete.
• Updated Title Screen - The title screen has received a major redesign featuring the new branding.
• Graphics Tweaks - Several visual elements throughout the game have been refined and improved.
• Executable Download - The game will now be distributed as a Windows .exe instead of a Python script.
• Bug Fixes - Numerous bugs and gameplay issues have been addressed.
• And More - Additional improvements and polish are planned before release.

Brickstone Works - FrontPage 3.0 Launches Today

Today marks the release of Brickstone FrontPage Version 3.0.

This update introduces a refreshed experience for visitors and continues Brickstone Works' goal of creating a clean, retro-inspired web presence.

Version 3.0 includes:

• Refined page layouts
• Improved navigation
• Additional content pages
• Better consistency across the site
• General improvements and cleanup

If you're reading this newsletter on release day, FrontPage 3.0 is already live.

Brickstone Works Newsletter - Loading Screen Upgrade

The Brickstone Works Newsletter now features an upgraded loading screen.

Changes include:

• Larger loading window
• Improved styling
• Better retro-computer appearance
• Enhanced loading messages
• Cleaner presentation before the issue loads

The goal is to make opening each newsletter feel more like accessing an online publication from the early days of the web.
